What are the bases for removable dentures made of?
The ball and socket abutments, as well as the DLOK abutments, are made of grade 23 titanium-aluminum-vanadium alloy. This material is equal in strength to other types of medical-grade titanium but superior in ductility and resilience. Where a Grade 4 or even Grade 5 piece breaks, a Grade 23 piece will deform slightly and return to its original position when the load is removed.
