FAQ

What is the difference between an implant analog for CAD/CAM systems and a classical model where the model is cast in plaster based on an impression of the jaw?

The only difference is in the attachment shank. In classical technology, the shank has to fit into the socket left by the transfer. In digital dentistry, the jaw model is printed on a 3D printer and the implant analogue is screwed into a nut that is fixed into the model.
