FAQ

How is the multi-unit platform better than cement fixation?

First of all, cement contact with soft tissues is avoided because all cement work takes place outside of the patient’s oral cavity. In addition, the number of fittings and adjustments is reduced, the denture will not be internally stressed and, therefore, the risk of screw loosening or breakage is minimal.

What is the best way to make a new prosthesis for a patient. The picture shows that the third implant is tilted by almost 90° relative to the first two. In addition, the middle implant has a buccal inclination of about 15°. Can I make a prosthesis with fixation on two extreme implants, and not use the middle one?

Idk anything about anything but those implants look like borderline malpractice to me

Refer that shit out to prosth no amount of money is worth dealing with that

Real answer: angled/custom abutments exist I guess

Why are we ignoring the fact that all three of those implants have 50% bone loss?? What are the probing depths? Bleeding?

The angulation of those is whack. With there being more than 30 degrees difference I doubt that some combination of those implants are really usable together in a meaningful way.

That seems like an excessive amount of implants for that span of edentulous space for an implant-retained partial. Just one of this should be sufficient if the implants are even salvageable.

This seems like a clean up job for a perio-pros team

We do not inhibit bone loss, so we are looking for a way to use all three implants to distribute the load. There’s no bleeding. My old mentor suggested one option. I’m posting the results.
