Like the implants, they are made of titanium-vanadium-aluminum Grade 23 alloy, which is superior to other medical grade titanium in its formability (malleability), thus reducing the risk of fracture and cracking of delicate parts. Transfers and implant analogs can be used repeatedly and for much longer than those made of surgical steel.
